SANA Membership and Schollarship Management Portals

SANA is Sindhi Association of North America. ACS developed for SANA a membership application covering every aspect of members from maintaining and updating their personal information to keeping a track on their membership expiry and renewal to automatic reminders and integrating it all with the financial portal. Advanced search capabilities with varying search options is part of Members’ Corner . It also contains FAME Fund Schollarship Management portal.
Membership Seeker / An Applicant
  • Applicant for membership will go to the website, fill in the detailed personal online membership form and will submit for review and final acceptance.
  • To this effect, an email will be generated to the administrator with detailed info of the applicant.
  • Upon verification of the applicant’s data, the administrator will login his corner on website and will accept or reject the application. An email to this effect will be sent to applicant with congratulations or regret.
  • If applicant is approved or accepted for membership, an email would go to him asking him to pay for the membership
  • Once he pays, again an email will be generated: to administrator intimating his becoming member now; to him congratulating on becoming SANA member; and to every member asking them welcome this guy. This email would contain his first name, last name, Current city and State and the address of origin. The new member will also get user id and password in that mail.
A Member Corner
  • Every member will have their user ids and passwords. They will be able to access through member corner.
  • They will have limited rights. They would be able to pay online their membership fee or make any other payment, i.e. registration fee, etc. The transaction would be booked for their name in the financial database. They would get the acknowledgement of it in email.
  • They would be able to modify/update their personal data
  • They would be able to see contact info of any other member, but would not be able to modify/change it.
  • They would be able to see their financial info, i.e. how much they paid, what’s outstanding to them, etc. But, would not be able to see others’ financial info. They can’t change their financial data.
Joining Forum
  • Member can apply for joining forum through website. Just will put up request which will go over to administrator/or forum in charge. Upon acceptance, he will be intimated in email and will be able to use forum.
Financial Handling
  • It will show complete console of financial status. The administrator/finance person will have access to it.
  • Any type of report driven out of the database could be seen here, i.e. number of members, total amount received, total amount outstanding with names, total amount collected for different events, etc.
  • Periodic payment reminders to members
  • Determining the next date for fee payment based on their membership date.
Donations management
Fame Fund Management
  • Applicants will apply from website by filling in the form, mentioning the category of scholarship, attaching their credentials, and submitting it
  • They would get an email of acknowledgement as soon as they submit it
  • Administrator/authorized person will be able to see application in report shape with their details to determine as who should be given scholarship based on certain criterion
  • Selection criterion could be defined with different weight age system, and scores could be calculated in the system and preserved.
  • A report in a required way could be sent to members or any one with different level of details.
  • Finally selected candidates could then be sent an intimation through the system
  • Rights and privileges would be defined as per administrator decision.
